So recently I received a new laptop that i thought would really be efficient for making music on as well as game. It is currently running windows 8.1 with a 64 bit processor. So obviously after that i went to image line and downloaded the newest installer for fl studio 12.4, It seemed to install fine by the looks of it and I was ready to mess around with fl studio. I activated my regcode and got into the newstuff fl studio project and instantly saw an error message saying Fruity limiter was not found, so i ran a plugin scan and i got an error for every plugin it tried scanning by saying it was not found. For the plugins that were actually installed, they wouldn't open because fruity wrapper was not found. I checked all of the vst folders i had and linked them to fl studio. (Idk if this next part is needed but it might help if I included it)The only plugins that were installed with the installer were: Fl studio vsti, fruity 7 band eq, Fruity balance, fruity bass boost, fruity blood overdrive, Fruity center, fruity chorus, fruity compresser, fruity delay, fruity fast lp, fruity filter, fruity flanger, fruity free filter, fruity mute 2, fruity phase inverter, fruity phaser, and fruity reeverb.

What i noticed is that those are pretty much all just effects, no generator vsts were installed. I would be somewhat fine with that considering i use some external plugins but fruity wrapper pretty much ruins it all by not being installed. So i installed the dll off of the internet for fruity wrapper and that version still didn't work. One last thing to note is that drums and everything else in packs were installed the problem is in the vst plugins section. I really hope i can get help with this because I want to put this new laptop to use and make music on the go, one thing I have never been able to do before. Are you talking about the VST versions of those plugins, or the native fruity versions? Because if you are looking for these in the browser, under Plugin database Installed Generators VST, you won't find them unless you've downloaded and installed the VST versions.

Fruity Limiter download file. On my download page there is most of the plugins I have e.g. Maximus, Edison although there is no Fruity Limiter. My limiter will not load so I was wondering where I could fine a.dll for it to reinstall.

But if you are using FL Studio, you should use the native fruity versions of those plugins. And they should be automatically installed with FL Studio. Poetry programs in colleges. What happens if you click on the 'Add' menu (up top)?

Can you see Harmor, or Sytrus listed there? I'm only asking you these questions because it would be very strange indeed, if those plugins were missing. If you can't see them in the favorites menu, open Windows file explorer and (assuming you have FL installed in the default location) navigate to: C: Program Files (x86) Image-Line FL Studio 12 Plugins Fruity Generators Sytrus and: C: Program Files (x86) Image-Line FL Studio 12 Plugins Fruity Generators Harmor Are those folders there?

Are there.dlls and other files and folders inside them?

So i searched the forum and i found this 'FL Studio’s automatic plug-in delay compensation (PDC) is notoriously bad when it comes to VST-instruments with multiple outputs (such as A4/Keys/Rytm-OB) and some additional steps are required to get OB plugins to sync properly with FL Studio. As these steps are certainly not obvious to everyone I thought it’d be great to spill the beans just in case there’s someone desperately looking for info on how to do it. Firstly, it is essential to route the A4/Keys/Rytm-OB plug-in to the MASTER track. That’s right; by not routing the OB-plugin output to any other mixer track than the master the automatic PDC won’t mess things up. Next, in order to properly route the individual outputs, from the OB-plugin wrapper properties go to ‘VST wrapper settings’ ‘Processing’. From the ‘Connections’-panel the individual outputs can now be routed to separate mixer tracks as desired. Next, create a sub-mix from all the OB mixer tracks.

In other words, route all the mixer tracks receiving audio from the OB plugin(s) to a separate mixer track (e.g. Don’t route any of the OB-tracks to the master. Finally, a Fruity Limiter trick is used for syncing the OB tracks with the DAW correctly: Firstly, (1) place a Fruity Limiter plug-in on the OB sub-mix track, (2) turn the mix level knob in the mixer all the way down to 0% and (3) in the “Envelope” section of the Fruity Limiter adjust the ATT, REL and AHEAD knobs to 0%. Then, (4) find out the exact latency of the OB plugin – this is indicated in the OB-plugin wrapper settings (for example, my Rytm OB plug-in latency is 1915 samples, or 1915/44.1=43.42 ms (at 44.1 kHz sample rate)).

The final step now is to (5) adjust the Fruity Limiter ATT knob (in the ‘Envelope’-section) to the same value as the OB latency (in milliseconds, e.g. In other words, the ATT-knob can now be used for manual latency compensation of the OB-plugin(s). This allows me to get all the individual OB outputs from my A4 and Rytm plug-ins in sync with the DAW. Most importantly, this also seems to do the trick even if I use plug-ins which introduce considerable latency in any of the individual OB mixer tracks (i.e. The FL Studio’s automatic PDC is working correctly). Just remember to route all the other stuff you’re sequencing in the DAW to a mixer track (instead of directly to master track) in order to sync everything correctly (this also applies to the metronome).' Now, when i put the OB on the Master Track when i go to the VST wrapper settings’ ‘Processing’.

From the ‘Connections’-panel the individual outputs can now be routed to separate mixer tracks as desired - i can't choose Outputs only if i put the OB on an normal track. I had no problems with a previous version of Overbridge in FL Studio 11.x 64 bit on Windows 7. Though now I am having an issue where I can load the VST, but the wrapper has no GUI (same with the Overbridge Control Panel in Windows). Tried install/uninstall/reinstall several times. I'm at quite a loss. I do however get sound in FL Studio, I just can't see the VST!

I have a ticket in with Elektron, see if they can come up with something. This would be somewhat devistating to my workflow if I can't get it sorted. I'm thinking now maybe I need to download the installer over again.
